| Facilities and Amenities River West Family Fitness is located on the west side of the Fox River, in a limestone building that is over 100 years old. Pieces of railroad pulleys from the 1800's are still visible today! Our facility houses over 25 pieces of Body Master strength training equipment and over 40 pieces of cardiovascular exercise equipment. The circuit strength training equipment is very user friendly, and the cardiovascular machines are each equipped with TV's, CD and DVD players. River West Family Fitness provides you with an extensive free weight training center, including an Olympic lifting platform, a Smith Machine, and free weights ranging from 3 pounds to 115 pounds. Upstairs features the Rock Climbing Wall that extends up over 18 feet high and is made of moveable and permanent fixtures so you never have the same climb twice. Our Group Exercise Classes are also held on the second floor, along with the tanning salon, the Babysitting facility, and the Men's and Women's Locker Rooms. River West Family Fitness provides all of our members with shower and sweat towels, lockers and locker keys. Each locker room has a dry sauna and several showers. Please stop by and take a tour.
